Youth Zone
Youth Zones are no judgement Drop In Centres and service providers supporting local youth in our community.
Youth Zones are safe and supported after-school spaces for young people to hang out, build friendships, and try new things. Open across different afternoons during the week, Youth Zone is completely free for children and young people to access free food, gaming, arts and crafts activities, sporting activities, and spaces to chill and hang out. Youth Workers are onsite to provide an array of educational and engaging supports, events, access to resources, support with employment pathways, and facilitate social connections for young people from ages 8 to 18.
At Youth Zone, you’ll find:
- Life skills activities such as cooking, health and wellbeing activities, resume writing and preparing for employment
- Programs surrounding art, community connection, sport, and cooking
- Free access to video games, tabletop games and art supplies
- Events like Live Music, NAIDOC, and Community Iftar
- Friendly Youth Workers to support you in achieving your goals
- Registered Condom Credit Card provider
