Burbangana Aboriginal Youth Mentoring Program
This free program supports Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander young people aged 15-24 in South Eastern Sydney. Focusing on kicking their education, training, employment and support goals. Young people are connected with a Mentor and a Youth Worker, and supported with one-on-one mentoring, training days, group programs, family drop in, and cultural programs. All mentors and staff are trained Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander workers in the local area.
Traditional Indigenous Games
10 Week Program
RESPECT, CULTURE, INCLUSIVENESS AND RESPONSIBLITY
We use these pillars throughout the Learning of traditional indigenous games. Each pillar is spoken about in depth, students will walk away with an understanding what the pilar means to them.
6-10 Week Program
Yarning circle is an age old practice of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It is very important for us to yarn about stories, information share and different topics that are important to us.

Learn about Aboriginal Art.
Create your own artwork! Students are encouraged to express themselves and get creative.
6 -10 Week Program
The Roots program is learning about all things “Black.” We touch on topics of :
- Political history
- sports people
- Defining moments
Every Tuesday afternoon we encourage all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to attend our Drop In.
There is access to Indigenous and non-Indigenous Youth workers who are there to support from 3:00pm – 5:30pm.
