3Bridges is a vibrant and diverse workplace with 230 people doing their very best to enrich the lives of the people who seek our services. This is my fourth year as the CEO and it has been an honour to confirm our strategy with the Board and lead the implementation with our executive team. We have established the Reframing Ageing Group Enablers (RAGE) to inform and guide our Reframing Ageing strategy and successfully implemented the Meeting Centre Support Program at Carss Park and Summer Hill. Our Volunteer Cottage in Mortdale is the base of our Re Imagining Volunteering strategy with the number of inclusive volunteers growing from 4 to 38 this year. The yarning circles with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community is an example of the meaningful connection that the Rethinking Brain and Mental Health strategy aims for.
This year we have focused on professional development and developed a Community of Practice so that we learn together, challenge each other and look outside as well as at our own practices. Managerial staff have been supported to complete Masters in Gerontology, Community Development and Management. Front line staff have gained quali cations in Community Development, Youth Work and Childhood Development.
