The UNGC is a network of organisations and businesses working together to align their operations with the universal principles of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. As a participant, 3Bridges has a corporate responsibility to develop and implement sustainable practices and strategies. Together, with businesses, civil society organisations, labour organisations and academic institutions, 3Bridges is committed to taking positive steps towards a more sustainable and equal future.
As a non-for profit charitable organisation, 3Bridges Community believes that through joining the UNGC, an increased education and greater influence can be had on the local community.
In fulfilling the organisations vision of connecting people in an enriched community, we strive to model the UN principles in all of its services. Through engaging the local community with 3Bridges Communitys’ corporate sustainability commitment, we aim create and maintain well-being and healthy communities as well as, build resilience.
More than 8,000 business participants and 4,000 non-business participants in the UN Global Compact are already changing the world. They’re helping alleviate extreme poverty, address labour issues, reduce environmental risks around the globe, and more.
Our UNGC program is coordinated by one of our young and inspiring leaders who acts as our sustainability ambassador Kate Gallagher.
