Empowering minds and strengthening capacities
Unlocking individual potential
Our Cognitive Learning Support Programs are tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual learner, taking into account that no two individuals have the same learning style. Our programs are designed to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each learner, and adapt the delivery of the program, ensuring the best outcomes.
We use a combination of established cognitive enhancement based on neuroscience research, alongside a 3Bridges developed life skills program for more complex needs.
Our program aims to equip each participant with more complex neurodiverse needs with essential life skills such as communication, problem-solving, and independent living, as well as emotional intelligence. By providing guidance, immersive experiences, and a supportive community, we guide individuals on the neurodiverse spectrum. Offering them the necessary tools and knowledge to tackle life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.
Arrowsmith is an evidence based cognitive enhancement course for all ages, designed to focus on the areas of the brain that are not functioning to full capacity, with a focus on improving cognitive ability. We offer a tailored flexible learning platform with centre based teaching, online teaching and individualised support.
A personalised program is created for students as no two individuals are alike, targeting specific neurological pathways. Our staff are experts, they are highly skilled teachers, facilitators and coaches, with a passion for making an impact. Our goal is to incorporate the classroom learnings with overarching social and community inclusivity to allow a well-rounded educational experience and support each individual reach their full potential.
In this course, adults of all ages are engaged in 3 – 8 cognitive exercises for 40 minute periods, 2 – 5 days per week. An individualised cognitive program then targets multiple weak cognitive functions as identified by unique student assessments.
This program is NDIS eligible with appropriate approvals.
For school aged children, the program is offered after school during school term for a 2 hour period or online self directed for 1 hour with a bi-weekly check in. There is also a Saturday class for students wanting to do additional cognitive exercises. Measurable outcomes include:
- improved hand writing
- maths skills
- quicker problem solving
- improved social skills
- increased ability to concentrate
